JUNIOR FOOTBALL

Shayne Ward
Junior Football Manager

The WorkSafe VCFL places great importance on the ongoing growth and health of junior football and has been pleased by the creation of more than 170 new underage teams in the past three years.

V/Line is an important partner in our junior programs.
The under 15 V/Line Cup showcases the best talent across the state each year in Melbourne, underpinned by many V/Line Junior Carnivals undertaken at the local level each year.  Of equal importance are the V/Line Life Training sessions which are delivered to thousands of youngsters each year where they hear about topics such as drugs, depression and how to make positive choices from role models.

The WorkSafe VCFL also can deliver advice and guidance on a range of issues facing junior football, from behaviour management, working with children and boosting participation.
