Living History Project

Living History Project

WorkSafe VCFL and Arts Victoria have undertaken a project to capture some of the rich community history within football clubs. It has been identified that a great deal of this history is currently stored within the memories of people who were part of the event and that it is not recorded or documented anywhere other than in their memories.

The WorkSafe VCFL through its partnership with Arts Victoria has developed a very effective way of capturing this history before it is lost to the community. The WorkSafe VCFL has two complete production equipment sets which are available to clubs. A short five minute video documentaries on the events, people, changes and incidents that have made your club what it is today is a fantastic way to preserve the history of the VCFL.

Also a number of the WorkSafe VCFL staff has received training in how those wishing to undertake the production of the documentaries might be able to go about the process. These staff members are available to visit your club and assist in the training of your members to be able to undertake the production of the documentaries.
